Previously I have talked about what colors work for what seasons, however, there are some colors that you can wear year round. A dark brown or purple such as OPI's "Lincoln Park After Dark" can be worn throughout the year.
Another color is a subtle white or pink, such as the ones used in a french manicure. They are perfect for any occasion and match with what ever outfit you may choose.
Now, if you are going to wear a light color on your nails the one thing you must make sure of is to keep your nails clean. This is very important because, in many polished that are sheer, you can see through them. If your nails are dirty under the nail you will be able to see it, not exactly the most beautiful thing to see is it?
However, with a darker color you will not be able to see any dirt under the nail. But you should always keep the nails clean. First of all dirty nails look disgusting but they also feel disgusting. Its very important to keep up with your nail hygiene.
Many people don't know this but, the way your nails look are an indication of what type of work you do. Think about it. If you have nasty, dirty nails, you would assume the person had a job that would require the use of his hands in some type of work with dirt or filth.
But if you have perfectly clean and polished nails a person could assume maybe you work on the computer all day, or have a job that doesn't require the use of your hands.
Your nails tell a story and tell of what kind of person you are whether it be clean or dirty as well as what kind of work you engage in.
Remember, Stay polished!
Year round nail polish...I never thought about that. I always thought colors came and went with the seasons. You learn something new every day.
ReplyDeletewow i've never thought about nails could represent what type of work you do. I enjoy the way you include tips for nail polish as well as how to maintain them from other people's judgement. It seems like our nails can give off an information to someone without noticing it, simply because how we place ourself in this world. After reading this, it made me wonder even further than i intended to. Nicely done!
