Previously I have talked about what colors work for what seasons, however, there are some colors that you can wear year round. A dark brown or purple such as OPI's "Lincoln Park After Dark" can be worn throughout the year.
Another color is a subtle white or pink, such as the ones used in a french manicure. They are perfect for any occasion and match with what ever outfit you may choose.
Now, if you are going to wear a light color on your nails the one thing you must make sure of is to keep your nails clean. This is very important because, in many polished that are sheer, you can see through them. If your nails are dirty under the nail you will be able to see it, not exactly the most beautiful thing to see is it?
However, with a darker color you will not be able to see any dirt under the nail. But you should always keep the nails clean. First of all dirty nails look disgusting but they also feel disgusting. Its very important to keep up with your nail hygiene.
Many people don't know this but, the way your nails look are an indication of what type of work you do. Think about it. If you have nasty, dirty nails, you would assume the person had a job that would require the use of his hands in some type of work with dirt or filth.
But if you have perfectly clean and polished nails a person could assume maybe you work on the computer all day, or have a job that doesn't require the use of your hands.
Your nails tell a story and tell of what kind of person you are whether it be clean or dirty as well as what kind of work you engage in.

Coral's Made a Come Back
I know it seems hard to believe that anyone would want their nails to look like a mix between red and orange. Believe it or not, coral is in style. If your not wearing it, you better get on it.
With the spring months departing and the summer ones fast approaching, it's time to take off that drab, dark polish and throw on a fun color, like a coral and have some fun.
Summer should be a time to let your hair down and have a little fun with out being over the top. A coral nail polish is the perfect solution to a new summer style.
Any polish will work into your wardrobe. That's the beauty of nail polish, it goes with everything. Even if it doesn't match, it does. With nail polish there are no rules and as long as you have the confidence to pull off a bright coral there is nothing holding you back.
Now, if your one of those shyer people who fades into the darkness and aren't willing to put a bright color on your nails that is just fine. To be in style doesn't mean you have to do everything just as exactly as everyone else does. Everyone has their own unique style and if a bright coral nail polish doesn't fit into that, don't worry, I have the perfect solution.
A darker, more subtle coral color will work best for the shy person. However, it's all in how you carry yourself. You never know, a simple polish change might give you the confidence to do things you would have never though of doing before. But you never know until you try.
Another great thing about nail polish is that if you don't like the color, you can take it off. With a cotton ball and nail polish remover you can start with a clean slate, like it was never there.
That's my nail polish advice for this week. Don't miss me too much, and remember, Stay Polished!

Feeling The Blues
For those rainy, just all around not so good days
blue is your color. Everyone has had those days when they feel down in the
dumps. There is no better way to express that feeling than with a beautiful
blue polish. Now, some blues look more cheerful and happy than others, but are
all good for getting the point accross.
On the left most nail is a vibrant light blue color
that appears more cheerful than the rest. This is more of a color to be worn
when the mood is good. It's a beautiful color for a summers day froliking along
the beach. This color is China Glaze, Flyin High.
Next we have Essie, School of Hard Rocks, which has
more of a green base. This color is gorgeous, and a color not often seen. It
looks great on all types of skin and can either be portrayed as a sad or happy
color.
OPI, Ski Teal We Drop has a teal base but still
maintains the blue color. It's a dark, rich blue perfect for any
occassion.
On the ring finger is a fabulous blue with a purple
undertone. This color is called OPI, Roadhous Blues, my personal
favorite.
And last but certainly not least is Essie, Bobbing
for Baubles. Its the darkest of the blues with more of a grey base. If you were
feeling down in the dumps this would be the perfect color to represent it.
There is no going around the fact that a dark, dark blue isn't a happy color.
However, I love the color for anywhere, anytime of the year.
Another great thing about blue nail polish is that
it never goes out of style and can be worn throughout the year. There is never
an off season with blue polish.
Remeber, stay polished!

Spring Is In The Air
With
spring finally here, it's time to take off that dark nail polish and throw on a
bright fun color. Tons of new collections are out for spring and it's only a
matter of time before you find a color that really suits you.
Unlike
winter, spring allows you to wear bright colors that you may have never thought
of ever wearing before. It's a time to let your hair down and have fun with
your nail polish color.
Nothing
is off limits when it comes to spring colors. From bright oranges to aqua and
everything in between, there is the perfect color for you.
The color
of your nails is a representation of yourself and a way to express your
personality in a subtle way.
Nail
colors are a great conversation starter and if kept up well can look
spectacular.
With so
many different colors and brands, it’s very rare that you will come across someone
with the same polish color as you.
In my
opinion, spring is the best time of the year for nail polish. Not only because the
colors are amazing but because new collections are coming out with new and
unseen colors.
Spring is
the time to let a little bit of your personality shine through in your nail
polish, and don’t worry it’s perfectly professional for a working environment to
have bright, tasteful nails.
Always remember and never forget, stay polished.
